It facilitates the regeneration of epidermis with microdamage caused by skin irritation, e.g. by scratching lesions. Our cream harnesses the immunomodulating properties of β-glucan – an ingredient that helps restore homeostasis in epidermal cells. β-glucan balances the microbiome on the surface of the skin, thus contributing to the alleviation of eczematous skin lesions. This component also plays a key role in inhibiting interbacterial communication and biofilm formation by Staphylococcus aureus, which is a pathogenetic factor in the development of atopy.
